TIMOTHY LEE
Director and Founder, LCSW
Director and Founder – LCSW – Licensed Therapist, State of New York, and a CSAT (Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist) and S-PSB. He earned his MSW from New York University. Tim has trained with Patrick Carnes, Ph.D, Doug Weiss, Ph.D, as well as at the Psychodrama Institute New York and Keystone ECU in Chester, PA.
Through private practice, Tim provides therapy to individuals and couples who are experiencing difficulties relating to sex addiction and compulsive behavior. For six years, he was a board member of The Society for The Advancement of Sexual Health , which publishes a scientific journal on sexual compulsivity and hosts an annual conference to provide educational sessions on the treatment of sex addiction. He is a member of IITAP (International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals), and was also a founding member of Addiction Therapy Professionals, a professional group of therapists specializing in the treatment of sex addiction. Before starting his private practice, Tim worked at various addiction treatment centers in the New York City area, including Hazelden of New York.
A licensed pilot, Tim enjoys flying and hiking in his leisure time. He is also an avid traveler and history buff. Tim and his wife live in Manhattan.
LISA VIERGUTZ
Primary Therapist – LCSW – CSAT
Lisa offers a variety of therapeutic interventions that focus directly on treating the addiction to achieve lasting change that promotes human dignity and wholeness. Other modalities utilized in her treatment include inner child experiential therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-based practices. Lisa is also a Certified S.A.F.E EMDR practitioner. Lisa completed the intensive, 5-day Love First™ intervention training with Jeff Jay and Debra Jay, creators of the Love First model.
Previously, Lisa has worked for large corporations, most recently in Pharmaceuticals and earned an MBA in the process. Outside of work she enjoys outdoor activities and is dedicated to helping members of her community heal their lives.
ANDREA LEVY
Primary Therapist
Andrea specializes in treatment for individuals with out-of-control sexual behavior and betrayal trauma therapy for their partners. Using a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based practices, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Therapy, she provides individual therapy and relationship restoration therapy for couples and facilitates group therapy sessions.
Previous to her career as a therapist, Andrea spent 20 years working in the field of strategic communications research for both Fortune 500 and non-profit clients. Andrea loves reading and theater, and her greatest passion is travel. She has visited over 65 countries and has lived in France, Japan, and South Sudan. She currently lives in Manhattan.
ROBERT TURNER
Primary Therapist CSAT-C
Primary Therapist – Robert received his Master of Science in Education from The City College of New York and his Master of Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. He has more than two decades of experience in behavioral health and addiction treatment, including leadership roles overseeing clinical and rehabilitation services.
Robert specializes in assessing and treating out-of-control sexual behavior, compulsive sexual behavior, and sexual addiction. His clinical approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR-informed interventions, CSAT principles, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, and, when appropriate, 12-step recovery principles.
Robert also facilitates a Medical Professionals Group, which provides a confidential setting for healthcare professionals to address recovery, professional boundaries, workplace interactions, and relationships with colleagues, staff, and patients.
He has extensive experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community regarding addiction, shame, identity, intimacy, and relationship concerns. His treatment approach focuses on reducing compulsive behaviors, improving emotional regulation, strengthening relapse-prevention skills, and helping clients develop healthier sexuality, relationships, and long-term recovery.
Outside of his clinical work, Robert enjoys exercise, attending the theater, and spending time with family and friends.

Michael Callahan
Primary Therapist- CSAT-C
Mike’s areas of focus in counseling are in mindfulness, compulsive sexual behavior, 12-step approach to recovery to help people regain agency in their lives, career issues and end of life/grief work.
Mike lives with his wife on Long Island, and enjoys spending time with their four daughters and six grandchildren. He is an author of two books on self-care and enjoys hiking and yoga.
